If you seek treatment for a keloid, it is important to seek it as soon as possible to prevent recurrence of the keloid post-treatment. The most common therapy is injection of a steroid onto the keloid where it prevents proliferation of cells of the scar site. There are other options as well, feel free to discuss these other options with Dr. Harold F. Farber M.D.
Please make your appointment at the Center for Dermatology, Laser and Cosmetic Surgery so that you may get the appropriate treatment for your keloids.
