Once the area is numb, a small instrument is used to remove the unwanted lesion. It is a minimally invasive procedure that can be performed easily within an office visit. There is no downtime which makes it convenient for you to continue your daily activities. Just make sure you clean the treated areas with soap and water, apply a band-aid if in an area of irritation and use an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment. Often times patients can’t find the treated area once done by Dr. Farber.
